Reviews
I came here with a tourist. We ordered the cheapest dinner set and we were happy with the quality of all the food!
It’s summertime and the soup to have is winter melon. And that would be the highlight of our meal. The peking duck was also quite good, especially crispy skins and we liked that. Their signature ice-roasted pork also lives up to its reputation. However I do think all the rest of the dishes that we ordered tended to be too salty. Usually at a higher end Chinese restaurant we don’t order rice to go with food so the meal was on the salty side. There was very good service throughout, and we were well-tended to. And of course excellent location in Shatin for NT diners and the ambiance is nice.
Had dinner at this restaurant and the food was incredible good. We enjoyed every single dish we had. It was amazing, sooo delicious 😋😋😋
Very deliscious cantonese dimsum. Very fast service.
deep fired dim sum is good and for fok kin fired rice too, good service, steam noodle rice roll is so so,can try tea which if u not just want traditional tea
Average food. Cha siu was tender but had a strong pork taste (not in a good way). The scallion oil chicken was pretty good. The lobster vermicelli in a clay pot was just okay. The chicken fried rice was quite tasty. The vegetables were decent but nothing special. The diced beef cubes were alright but some pieces were hard to chew.
Service and atmosphere I think are top points of this restaurant, sadly the dimsum was just mediocre even for foreign standards. The almond tea dessert however is must try!
The quality of the dim-sums is good undoubtedly since I visited with my family when I was small.
However, we had a visit earlier this week which was extremely disappointing and unpleasant.
We were aware of the eating time of 75 minutes. However, we were forced to have the desserts 35 minutes before the finishing time even though we did asked to be served later as we are still eating the other dim-sums. The waitress served us was nice but the manager is in a bad attitude when we complained.
We’ve been here for so many times but never have I ever been pressured this way. We would reconsider if we will come back again.
